Hi Everyone!

I am having a really hard time planning/deciding where to put my frags. I have all these very nice frags but I have no clue what is the best locations. Do I group my favias together? Do I group my Blastos together? Do I scatter things here and there? How do you guys plan for the future when the tank start maturing? I have nightmares of corals killing each other once they start filling in.

I scatter my corals best as possible and then when I run out of room start putting them closer together

I personally group corals together that are the same species. Usually they won’t sting their neighboring corals this way. Eventually some corals can grow together as one big multicolored animal, pretty cool imo.
As your tank matures you can frag the corals that are getting too close to each other, coral warfare is inevitable in a multi-year-old reef, my 90 is about to hit three years old and I have multiple wars being waged with encrusting corals that are near impossible to frag away.

Light and flow are the main things to consider with coral placement.

Thank you for your suggestions!! Will take them into consideration when arranging things.
