Hello all,

I've recently added afew corals to my 6 gallon fluval edge nano tank. I've had salt tanks for years in the past but this is my first foray into corals.

I've placed 3 mushrooms, 2 small zoanthids colonies and a small kenya tree. I'm looking for any comments on my placement. Will they achieve enough flow and light? Please see picture below.

Thanks for your time.

Mushrooms best near bottom, zoas can go anywhere with at least some flow, kenya tree mid level usually as they do require a bit more light and a bit more flow.

Looks great!

I have the same tank, currently going through cycling.

I think the OP's question was is the light and filter that came with the Fluval Edge 6 gallon-(which has, I think, a really decent water flow- it moves my live sand around some) enough to sustain corals? Or will additions be required?

Thanks for all your help, guys. This place is awesome!

Ideally you'll need to upgrade the lighting and add a powerhead and skimmer.
Soft corals are tough and resilient thou so they may be ok in the edge but upgrading will help them thrive.

Got it- that's what I thought. Thanks!
