Most softies medium to low.
Lps is more medium to high.
And most sps are high.
This is a simplification so there are some softies that need high light and sps that like low light but generally that is where they like it. I start all my coral on the sand bed and slowly move them up the rock work intill I find a spot that they like.
Even the stuff that can live in very low levels of lighting can thrive and grow faster with more.
Over-generally speaking, low to high, softies, LPS, MBP&S (montis, birdsnest, poci and stylophora) then Acropora. Clams can be in that range too from Deresa, Squamosa, Noae, Maxima and Crocea.
If you do put lower light corals in higher light make sure you have good flow as the coral will Purduce more waste as it’s rate of photosynthesis speeds up.
I also look at PAR levels. If you can buy a Seneye or rent a PAR meter. Then turn your lights on the % you want and right down the par from bottom to middle to top. And also left to right. Then look up what par level the coral is best at but don't forget about flow as well
