Hi all, I'm new to reef aquariums, (many years of planted tanks though) would really appreciate some help with coral suggestion and placement.

My rock work is not the best, as you can see. I wished I had done it differently and used different rock. It's too late now as I have waited 5 months for the rock to cure and I really don't want to start over yet. My concern is with coral aggression as I do not have a great deal of rock space. If anyone could take a look at my photos and advise me of coral types and best position I would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance

Placement is highly dependent on which lights you're using. If you could tell us which lights, the spectrum you're using, power level, height they are at and your tank dimensions that would help greatly.

I might raise the candy canes and lower the hammer, but that's my preference. I don't think you'll have much issue with aggression for a long while. There's plenty of space between them.

Thanks for your reply, I'm using a fluval sea 3.0 reef spec LED along with two 16w reef LED t5 tubes.

I wanted to fill the walls of the rock work with acans and some other LPS. I've had issues with the candy cane shying away from the light and had to move it down.

You can add some look like rock magnet frag racks for extra space. I use the tunze ones definitely gives some extra space while still looking natural. Here's my tank, you can see them on the back wall, also adds depth to the build.
