Friends,

Finally got some corals and they will be here on Tuesday.

I do need some help with placement. 3 zoas and 2 hammers, a frogspawn. And a brain

Zoas can be placed on left middle rock, the hammers and frogspawn could be put in say on the opposite side of that maybe higher. Brain could go in the sand

I always see the low medium high for light. I can never make it out if lets say hammers need more or less light than zoas.

There is a plateau stone on the right that I wanted to turn into a zoa garden or what have you.

Low i consider 100par and medium high would be 150 to 300. That isn't official thats just what I consider it. Par meters are suggested. I really want kne they're super useful

-Lower third to mid tank is happy medium for those mentioned under moderate light and water flow and you can lower light at introduction for first 36-48 hours. While brain can go on sand, sand can irritate them and best to place on a flat rock towards bottom

Good sir,

Would a plate coral do well on sand? I have a resin plug buried in sand I want to use for a brain or plate coral.

Yes- they have the ability to move sand grains off of themselves
