Ok, so I was thinking about buying some corals however the frags that I am looking at are like every other frag small on a Coral Plug. I guess my point is I buy the frag and there is this big ugly plug in my nice looking tank what can be done about this?:squigglemouth:

Youll have to pop it off the plug and glue it to a small piece of rock rubble then place it in your tank!

Ask who you are buying frags from to mount them to rock rubble or unmounted
for you and then you just glue them in and after a while you cant tell they are there.

Ok this is something I may try myself I have a CANDY CANE CAULASTREA LPS. I just brake it off the plug and glue it on to a peace of rock rubble right! Can I use super glue or what kind of glue should I use? The glue I have is DUCO CEMENT will this work?

Use superglue gel. I think the duco is household cement. What I do is take a drill bit, just a little bit bigger than the stalk of the coral, and by hand hog out a depression in the rock. I then fill it with the gel and hold the stalk in place till it holds.. You can drip some SW on the glue to make it skin up, once the stalk is in place.

loctite superglue gel will work, make sure whatever brand you use it's gel, not regular. the gel will allow you to position the item. then you can dip it on some salt water to start to cure the glue. Where in Colorado are you?

I cut the frag plug up with side cutters and glue it to the rockwork or brake of the frag and glue it the best glue I have found is BSI ic-gel it works grate you can also cut the frag and glue it what is left on the plug will grow a new coral
