Are polyps in the colony share nutrients to a degree? Ie, if i feed one mouth, would any of the nutrient travel to neighboring polyps?

I ask bc i have an acan colony where many of the mouths are facing sideways and even downwards that I can't spot feed. Yet they are still growing and spreading new heads even more "downward" where its harder to get light and never been spot fed. Seems to me they might be getting nutrients from the main "OG" upwards facing big heads that i constantly target fed?

Yes - if they are a colony (i.e. all part of one animal). A group of Zoas, for example would not do so as much - or mushrooms, etc. But lets take green star polyps. The energy created above (where its lit) - can allow polyps to grow in near darkness.
