A friend came home from holidays to find his Duncan coral's polyps, seperated from their carbonate rock base, floating around the tank, fully extended. The same goes for his Catalaphyllia.
What would have caused this?
Sorry, i don't know much about his water perameters, other than they were apparently fine before he left. He had someone feeding the tank while he was gone, under precise instructions I assume.
