So I have a nice 280g setup that's been up and running for years. I built this really cool rock archway right in the middle as the center piece and its covered with zoas mostly now, if I had to guess a couple thousand so it's impossible to remove them all by hand. I want to start doing more sps now. Anyone familiar with any sps I might be able to plant in open spots on the archway that would simply let Mother Nature do her thing and overrun the zoas. It's covered mostly with red/blue/purple hornets and Rastas. The option to remove the archway from the tank is zero.

Off the top of my head, there isn't any SPS that's going to win in a fight against zoas. Except maybe a hydno haha.

Sell the rock to me! :D

Ha! That thing took so long to build. Regardless of what's on it, it still looks amazing. Might go with a torch coral or something. I know those long tentacles will do some work and then the added motion in the tank would be way cool right in the middle.

You could probably find a zoa eating fish pretty easily.

I thought about that too but worry about my lps and then I want to add a few clams. Once a fish is in my tank good luck catching it.
