There's a Reefapoluzza event in a couple weeks in Anaheim.

For those of you who have gone to one are the prices for corals cheaper, the same, or jacked up for the event?

Just wondering if it's worth the 75 mile drive. I'm in San Diego and there's no shortage of coral shopping here.

I think it just depends on the vendor. I went to ReezAPalooza Dallas, and I saw a lot of good prices corals with many over priced corals. Going on Sunday will also offer you better deals.

most collector pieces will be at collector prices , not cheap. If you want deals , not collector stuff then Cash in hand during the last 2 hours on Sunday goes a long ways.

A lot of late show deals are gone. It’s not worth it to the vendors. They just package them up and ship them back home now

I would not make the trip just for coral shopping personally

Shopping and buying at these shows is a perk. If you don't enjoy the pageantry of an event like this, it's probably better to tour your LFS options for deals. The chances are good, though, if you know what you are looking for you can find someone in a big event who's done well with something on your wish list and you won't have to pay a premium for it. That said, nobody is selling Candy Crush Jawbreakers for $20. Have to keep it real.
