I’ve been using coral pro salt and seem to really like it but it seems like the alk is really low . I have been mixing and keeping my tank at 0.26 and all seems to only be at 8.1 by my reading on the Pail it should be around 11 ish . I check it with my refractormetre why would it be mixing that low ? I’m think of getting the Milwaukee one

I did the calibration with rodi and I’m checking it with a Hanna dkh checker

I would get calibration fluid and double check your salinity. Mix the salt dry as well. Used coral pro for many years and while companies can make mistakes, I've never read alkalinity that low.

Calibrating a refractometer with RODI is not that good. As suggested by DSC, use calibration fluid. A small bottle lasts forever.

Keeping your tank at .26? Don’t you mean 1.026? Or do you mean 26 ppt? Reef aquariums are generally kept at about 35 ppt.
