Hello!

If the black really is growing on that coral it can be a few things. Not enough flow on the Coral itself and from looking at your numbers the Phos is a bit high and the Nitrates are a bit low. Are you seeing this issue on any other coral?

My phosphates were 0. I started dosing neophos from Brightwell, after which I started flying around. Now I bought 7 fish. Phosphate became 0.025. There was another problem - it was hot and the water heated up to 26-27 degrees.

Looks like a Monti cap it is totally fine to gently blow off whatever is growing presuming it will come off easily, probably doing more harm with the stuff which I believe is some sort of algae growing on it.

hi, my nitrates stay at 50. I added zeomix zeolife passed my month nitrates float between 50 and 40. Help me lower my nitrates, what am I not doing right? my sps fly around, the ends of the SPS turn white
