Hey guys

Running a coral QT, 20long.

Water change day today, and noticed these guys in the glass, and on my ammonia alert badge. I’ve dipped the corals a couple times over the past 6 weeks trying to kill a red bristkeworm that lives in a folded up piece of GSP.

Either way, these guys survived. Friend or foe? Thinking amphipods.

Second question: what pests am I trying to eradicate? I’ve been taking the ‘kill them all’ approach, but every time I dip, a few days later I see these guys come up again. Brand new clean tank and rack, new hob.

If all I’m seeing are pods and there is no sign of flatworms or red/black bugs, are they good to go?

Dip: bayer advanced, 10ml per 4oz water, 15 mins, 3 x 15 minutes water rinses
