Hi, I want to set up a small quarantine tank for my corals that are coming in, but I only have a freshwater light with white and blue. Can the corals survive under the light for the quarantine process or is it not possible? Thanks in advance.

I would say it may be possible. It really depends on the light output and how long you plan to QT. Probably going to have to try it to know for sure. I think it should be fine... it will need to acclimate to your DT light once you move it over.

If you’re going to QT corals, and assuming you’ll get more, you might wanna get a cheap led light. Might serve you better but to answer your question, the one you have will likely keep them alive but the coral is likely to brown out.

I am from South-Africa so coming by these lights are hard does anybody know if the Zetlight Aqua ZA1201 Marine LED will work?
