Hello! I have finally decided to start with corals after many years of having a FOWLR tank. I purchased a 10 NUVO Fusion PRO 2 AIO Aquarium for my coral quarantine tank. I was going to put a small live rock I’ve had in my display tank for many years and use tank water from my DT. In doing so, does the tank still need to go through a cycling period before adding frags in there and if so how long?

No corals do add to the bio load as much as a fish would. They also aren’t effected by low levels of ammonia as they lack red blood cells you will be fine to add them straight to your quarantine.

Great, thank you! I will put it in there and keep my fingers crossed!
