What is wrong with him? I can't give parameters as I do not have a way of checking. I usually go to the lfs but haven't been able too. Honestly I feel like they are going back and forth with me. It looks like he's shrinking.

I don't. Should I be putting food right on it? No he used to be somewhere else. I just moves him recently. I think I need a frag holder. The rock I have doesn't have a lot of spots to place him.I don’t know what type of coral that is but appears to be lps showing recession and skeletal ridge/structure. Do you feed it? Does that macro come in contact with it?
Water parameters can also cause recession - we would need to make sure they are in correct targets.
I have a better pic. Yes, the macro does touch him. I have reef 1 and Reef 2 as well as fuel. The fish was added recently. Honestly I do not know where my levels are at currently. About a week ago I took a water sample to my lfs. I was told a water change was rec since ( one or the other nitrate or nitrites) were raising. I did a water change as they rec and added gfo, like they rec. I used their water. Went back after a few days, cause one of the fish didn't make it after the change. Then they say my levels are too high. I don't know what to to do anymore. Everything I go it's something different. I do what they rec, go back, still an issue. I acclimated the fish prior to placing them in the tank. I don't have a lot of options for lfs around here.Hello - I notice that you have 2 different types of Caulerpa (green macro alga) in your tank. These will outcompete corals for the food (nitrates). What are your nitrate levels? I just yanked all the green Caulerpa out of my tank because my nitrates were bottoming out.
LFS sounds sketchy. You need to take testing into your own hands. If they recommend you buy something every time you visit, they may be playing you. How big is the tank (gallons), how old is the tank, can you post a full tank shot?Honestly I do not know where my levels are at currently. About a week ago I took a water sample to my lfs. I am aware. I'm looking into purchasing a testing kit. Someone recommended salifert. I was looking at the API ones. It's 10g. It's been running for a year. But majority of the coral are newish. So is the fish. I do what they recommend, return to have the water tested and there is always an issue. I don't understand anymore.LFS sounds sketchy. You need to take testing into your own hands. I love the Kenya tree. The only one that looks sad is the purple donut looking one. Someone said it could be a blasto. I do have reef 1 and reef 2 on hand. Also have fuel and mysis shrimp, brine shrimp. Yeah just one clown fish. I would love to start a bigger one.um, your tank looks good! Your GSP look good, Kenya tree looks good, water is clear, no nuisance algae. I think you are ok. I would buy a Hannah checker Nitrate checker to start. Do your own testing. Don't chase numbers, especially when your LFS is jerking you around with numbers they provide. If you need to increase nitrates just feed a bit more. Do you just have the one clown? It will likely eventually outgrow the 10 gal.
Thanks. Some corals just do well. All systems are different. If I get a new coral and it does not work out, I don't try to do too much about it. Maybe move it to a different area of flow or light, but don't go dumping products in your tank to try and save something that is probably already on the way out.
Looks like trumpet coral or favitesI have a better pic. Yes, the macro does touch him. I have reef 1 and Reef 2 as well as fuel. The fish was added recently. They said the poop helps feed the corals.
