Coral question

Tank looks great, too bad with this covid stuff, other wise you'd be able to goto the Frag Farmers Market in Storrs, CT that happens annually and could get all kinds of things.
Love Boston, couldn't agree more with the weather, I'm in central CT and about to go either carolinas or FL.
Thanks! That’s funny I was thinking Carolinas too. But FL has some good scuba diving which I’ve never done but this hobby definitely has me interested in!

It's looks like it very likely could be a fireworm, so I would definitely remove it. I'm sure you probably already know this but supposedly the bristles on it are painful if you get stuck with them, so I'd do my best not to touch it.
Thanks LFS said it’s a bristle and it won’t harm anything. I’m like yeah but what about me LOL and it’s ugly and I don’t want it in there so how to get it out without looking at it because EVERYTIME I look at it I gag LOL a friend of mine she said tell the fish store to come get it hahaha I said yeah I’m gonna call them and tell them to come remove the alien out of my tank that it wasn’t part of the agreement in my purchase I made with them. LOL

That’s incredible. A lot of work for a hobby it’s good to know I’m not alone at least and not crazy or maybe we all are haha. The mouthfuls of salt water I’ve had to swallow syphoning when I needed to do something quickly and didn’t have even time to go to basement for the pump. Lol the floor covered in water. The hours upon hours and hours moving rocks around aqua scaping fingers red and sore from it. Friends always asking what I’m up to. I’m like what u think I’m up to. They like your moving the rocks around aren’t you. YUP
That's funny, on water change I still syphon out tank water and use a pump to put fresh water back in. Should be the other way around. Maybe I will get a small pump to pull water out. I do that with my fresh water, pump water out, turn off pump and connect the other end of hose to quick connect on bath faucet to fill with new water, easy.

Too humid in Florida, and lots of bugs. That is why I chose Las Vegas, hot and dry in the summer, cool and sometimes cold in winter. We had about 2 inches of snow one morning, last time was ten years ago.

Yeah it could be just a large bristle worm, but I never seen them that big. Somewhere on this site they have methods of capturing it with a plastic bottle and straws.

I’ve been to Vegas twice. Lots of opportunities for Djs out there too. Maybe have to add that one to the list of possibilities. But I do love the ocean so I don’t know!! Haha
