Not sure if the pic is good enough to tell but why is what I think a Zoa stretching long like this? Is that normal for a Zoa.

it is stretching most likely for more light. What is your current tank size and light fixture?

90 gallon, Led lights. What’s odd is when it was lower in my tank it wasn’t doing that.

Too little light or flow too low. Also they do this is search of food/nutrients and elevated Phosphates

Could just be getting used to the new location and moving them brings more variables like vette stated. do you know what exact led lights you are running? What are you using for flow (exact pumps and speeds used please)?

So my blues are on for 9 hours whites are on for 2….phosphates actually have come down from .16 to .07 in the last 5 days….flow is good things are moving around as usual 2 power heads . Been using phosphate E for the phosphates that were high could that be making it do that.

No don’t know the exact leds but been the same one for a while and have had this coral for a while…powerheads I believ are 950 maybe can’t remember to be honest.

that could be low flow depending on flow pattern and exact amount of gph used. I use medium to high flow in a 55 gallon breeder and that is using around 3000 gph (they ramp up to this). Can you take a photo of the led light, if it is a common light I should be able to id it and let you know if it is underpowered for your setup or not

Feed more and skip the chemicals. I suspected Phos as an issue. For flow, your goal is to keek sediment off of them. If you take a turkey baster and give them gentle bursts. If you see dust like stuff coming off of them - An indicator of inadequate flow

If you can tell the water at top is moving quite a bit and I may be way off on the power heads honestly can’t remember but the anemone is moving around pretty good I think water at top is moving good

Guess the video I attached in last post isn’t working but I don’t think flow is any issue stuff moves around really well in my tank. Phosphates are .07 and going down. Just blew them off and nothing came off.
