What can I place on my live rock that's at the top that looks like a doughnut I would like to add something that would grow all over it and with nice colors. Can anyone help me with this?

Are you looking to go SPS or LPS or soft coral?

Soft or any that would strive well up there under the light
What lights are those? Only issue with trying a soft coral near the top is they're going to be blasted with light, and generally they like low light levels. Maybe look into some type of encrusting montipora? A rainbow monti, or frooty loops monti would look awesome up there and provide some stunning color.

I second the encrusting Monti

One on each side and let them come together, two halves of the doughnut! ;Woot;Woot

Question if I glue the frag sideways on the left and right against the doughnut will it still grow around or should I glue it on the base around the doughnut sorry for all the questions

Dang. Now I want a doughnut. Before Montipora was suggested I was going to toss out "frosting with sprinkles" for doughnut decoration! (My fav!)

Anyhow, the rockscape in your tank looks really nice, and it will look very nice once your corals encrust the donut.

I'm leaving now to get doughnuts. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. My co-workers were also happy for the Donettes -!

I would glue them in these two spots. That way they're guaranteed to get enough light to encrust on the rock :)

If anybody says pulsing Xenia ignore them!! Lol

How about a nice green star polyp shaped donut? I really like this as it moves and spreads.....

Hello, I don't know what i could add on a certain spot of my tank.
My tank is 35 gallon, has good filtration and an led.
There is a ledge in the middle of my tank (5inchx4inch), it is 12 inch under my Led
I think it has med/strong lighing and low/med flow.
I would like to add a pocillopora but i think the flow is to low.
All suggestions are welcome (sps, lps, soft doesn't matter).
For refference, i keep a wall torch 20 inch under my led and he is extending pretty long but is doing very well and i keep a duncan at the same height as the ledge and he is doing very well.

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for the help.
