Coral rehab photos

Does anyone have any coral rehab stories? I was given an anacropora (I think) that was slowly losing color and dying and it’s been so wonderful to watch it start getting a bit of its color back and extend a few polyps. It was white and sad but now I have hope that I might save it. I would enjoy before and after pics if you got them.

A friend of a friend gave me a 20g tank. It was obvious that this person only wanted pretty fishies and didn’t care much about the overall tank health. The freshwater light on it was dim enough to bleach a Rhodactis mushroom. I got a Fluval marine light, and now have:
-The aforementioned green Rhodactis
-Blue-dot Red Discosoma
-Green implosion palys
-GSP
-Pulsing Xenia
I was also thinking about adding an Orange Rhodactis.

At the absolute worst, it was bleaching, retracted, and expelling zooxanthellae daily:

Everything (except one thing) revolved around stability:
- I added a used ApexEL which allowed me to track temperature and pH swings continuously.
- I attempted to narrow the swings in parameters by being more diligent in testing and water changes (started doing water changes every weekend).
- By far the most important change was my lighting schedule. Unbeknownst to me for nearly two months, my spectrum was severely altered from my intended spectrum. When I setup the lighting, my schedule failed to import correctly which ended up setting my deep blues to zero. Tank looked purple but I hadn’t been in the hobby for five years so I just thought that was how my lights used to look, turns out that was a massive mistake. My corals were likely getting very little 400-500nm spectrum which probably resulted in them starving.

Edit: I’ll add that I started dosing amino acids as well, that seems to help struggling corals once their environment has been improved.
