Hi guys

What is the long term effects of corals that end up partially shading its lower neighbours?
For arguments sake let’s say half the coral is under full light but reduces towards the other side

You will get changes in the growth pattern and worst case scenario the shaded side will die. You may see the light side growing normally while the shaded side stalls/grows slowly. You may also see the coral grow directionally towards the light (I have an acro growing at a 45 degree angle towards the light).

Thanks for the reply , I guess unless we can provide side lighting (90 degrees ) at the sides weel always get this
