Has anyone seen this before? 1st pic is 2 days ago, 2nd is from yesterday. It looks like the coral skeleton of my hammer is being eaten away? I did notice my Pink Rose Urchin nearby. Is it possible it is eatting the coral?

Urchins eat anything that is softer than a diamond, more or less. :) Unless I'm blending some other thing I read....I think they may even have zirconium? teeth that are nearly as hard as diamonds. They will definitely chew through power cords and anything soft in the tank if they decide to.

Yes I had a urchin munch down a couple scan frags and started on my wall hammer so needless to say it's no longer with us but I will say tuxedo urchins don't eat coral if I'm rite well atleast mine hasn't had a taste for coral yet
