Found this on Facebook today. As tacky as it looks, I think it would look pretty cool covered with coralline, in a predator tank.

One site (can’t remember which one) had a skull like that fully encrusted with a montipora. Pretty cool but I’d never put it in my reef tank haha

Cyphastrea skull experiment

So I’m sure we’ve all seen the cyphastrea covered status and skulls right? Ex. Well I got a ceramic skull yesterday From salty ceramics and a cyphastrea from Philly splash yesterday and I wanna try it has anyone had any luck? Tips ? Advice?

I have a similar rock, looks like maybe an old brain coral. I found it on the beach in Guantanamo bay. However it’s never found it’s way into my tank.
