Coral Smoothie?

Recently, at SeaMax, the manufacturer of Coral Smoothie was there. They also gave our club a large bottle of it, which we'll be raffling off, at our Annual BBQ/Frag Swap, next weekend. If I win it, I'll let you know...lol.

gotta love the picture on the bottle....have to wonder about tank water getting into the bottle....I am sure you can't help but to get some in the bottle...but I love the concept....

Well, I've tried it, but I don't know how zoas and chalices look like when they're feeding. The zoas just close up when I squirt it in.

And yeah, tank water does get in, but I refrigerate it after using it.

how would tank water make it into the bottle anyway?

wouldn't it make more sense to use a hypodermic or a baster to do the spot feeding?..this would eliminate any chance of water getting into the bottle

Your right but the bottle says you can use it in the tank......I also think you are supposed to release the product a few inches upstream as not to disturb the coral

Just like this...
