Looking for a suggestion, I want to try an sps on the tall rock on the right, it’s a high flow high light spot, I’ve had my birdsnest about 9 months and it’s grown from a small frag, so I want to try an acro, tank has been up for 18 months, I’ve thought about a bonsai, id like something besides green.. what’s a good beginner acro?

Green slimer. They’re very hardy

Strawberry Shortcake is nice looking and wont break the bank. Check battlecorals. He has pics of the frags and then the colony so you can see what it will look like, some are a bit pricier then others.

HA.... I thought he was looking for a green.... Headcold medicine... ugh.

So... my list would then add in the following:
-Setosa
-Forest Fire Digitata
-Orange Digitata
- Red Monitpora
-Red Planet
I find all of these do well and are fairly hardy. In fact, they grow like weeds in my tanks.

He wants to try an acro haha

WD is actually pretty cheap now ($50), it’s decently hardy as well, and obviously very very good looking. If you had a birdsnest do good I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Your space is limited so I would pick acros you want long term and not just “easy/common”. WD does happen to be fairly easy though.

LOL
....
I may need to go back to bed. Although, the Red Planet is an Acro.... and grows like a weed for me.
My bad, I wasn’t real clear, I do have a red monti frag that I added a few months ago and its growing well.

Coral farmers market. They have them in decent sized cities. Where do you live? There’s a guy on here who posted yesterday he had tons of WD frags for sale as well. I’ll try to find that post.
