Well I'm about 1 month and a half past my restart from the tornado power outage nuking my tank. Things seem to be back on track and are doing well. Need some coral recommendations for the top of my scape, par is 175-200 depending on position. Again this is a new tank and my first time in the salt hobby, so anything hardy that looks good and can handle that par let me know, share some pics if you like. Would love some Acros but I dont think me or my tank are ready for that quite yet.

I went with Leptos and Gonis along the top of my rock work. My par here is ~200. They like the flow there.

They seem to be fairing well.

What are the systems current water chemistry parameters and for how long, completely stable?
Temp: 78
Salinity: 1.025
Alk: 9.2
Calc: 447
Mag: 1397
Nitrate: 5
Phos: .07

Parameters have been pretty stable around these numbers for the last 4 weeks. I have some zoas, birdsnest, acans, candycane, warcoral, cephastria currently all seem to be doing well fluffy and happy.

What kind of flow do you have going on in that spot?

If you have high flow, I would go with some SPS. Maybe try an easy/cheaper acro, otherwise stylos/montis are great options too!

If you have low or moderate flow, I would do hammers/torches.

Basically trying to match coral to the environment so the coral can thrive without hurting what you already have.

I put links to my site above. I have a 15% off sale running right now too! Shipping is free at $249 and reduced to $39.99 on orders over $100. :)

Hope this helps!

It is medium to high flow, its kind of like a flat top, with my point of turbulence being right there, with 2 MP10's colliding. What "easy" acros would you suggest?
