Happy Sunday! So I am beginning to build my coral and have been trying to start with mostly beginner corals. So far I have a leather, clover polyp, trumpet coral, hammer, and some zoa's. I am wondering what other coral would be hardy for a beginner but have some color. So far most of what I find in my LFS is Browns and greens. My trumpet is the only bluish I have. I want some pop!
Thanks in advance

Well, shoot. I thought it was a type of zoanthid. Beginner mistake. I just read goniopora is super hard to maintain... Boo [emoji30]
Not necessarily hard to maintain ,it depends on your husbandry, some are more demanding and some are less. This is a challenging hobby for everyone , just remember patience is the key and a lot of research goes a long way.Just don`t give up and you will succeed.

Can be. Good light & Plankton.

Ill drive over to ASD and see what the have.:D

Thank you for the advice and reading, after some research I believe I have the goniopora platulata species. I have it in my sandbed as of now and will begin a combo of phytoplankton and a my sis/brine shrimp feeding. Wish me luck! Lol
