Anyone use one of those coral tamer cups that suction to the glass to keep anemones or any other coral in place?

Worth it?
Does it work?
Reviews?

I use something similar to store anemones that i give away. They get covered by algae pretty quick.

Works fine, depends on the nem though, they can crawl out if they really want to. They get covered by algae only as fast as the rest of your tank does, so I didn't have too much trouble. Flow inside the cup isn't great, so detritus can accumulate depending on how large the nem is so you just have to take a baster or coral feeder and blow it out every now and then. Overall, I like them and have used them to hold BTA splits before sale or to grow out.

I clean my glass every other day so it lasts about 2 days. great for a temp holding device. But it's a terrible permanent solution.

a small plastic strainer and styrofoam to float it, works better as it doesn't become a detritus trap

Appreciate it guys. I have a condy and added a Rainbow... so just anticipating if i may need 1 is all
