Coral tank without fish

I have a 29 gal saltwater tank for about 4 months now. Lost what fish I did have to ich. So now I'm going to just keep coral only for a few months. Should I be feeding the coral or will the be fine with light only? Thanks everyone.

I personally feed every kind of coral I have, but what I feed depends on what kind of coral it is. What do you have in the tank right now?

Zoas, polys, toadstool leather, Duncan, cats paw, few chalices and favia and some daisy polyps.

What kinds of corals do you have? Most of them can eat meat and some can eat meat and live off of photosynthesis (your lighting)?

I would most definitely feed the tank. I don't see it as feeding fish, but feeding everything in the tank. There are lots of other things that will benefit from feeding something like rods original.

Yeah, you have a lot of LPS, the Duncan, Chalice and Favid will take food. Feeding those will add some nutrients to your tank for the other corals that tend to take up some of the dissolved organic compounds.

I have t5 led 1 white, 2 blue, and 1 purple 24 watts each.

I'm running the white 4 hrs and the rest 8 hrs. All in all no more than 7 to 10 hrs of light.

You are going to want to keep the biological filtration fed regardless (assuming you are going to add fish again at some point?) so feeding the corals will help both the corals and the filtration.

I probably get my fish fix through friends tanks. Fish are more of a hassle for me, you have to deal with disease, aggression, reef safe not reef safe, providing a good nutritional diet. Corals you need flow, light and chemicals and maybe some feedings. I do like to keep a pair of clowns or other damsels, but that is about it.

Just like the corals more, weird I know. I have done fish so it's not like I am missing out.
