Coral Tips in general

Aside from coral dipping, what else should I do when getting a coral? I'm an fowlr onky rn and I wanted to get into corals as well. Do I acclimate coral or no? I did buy reef roids but aside and knowing to mask and glove up what else should I be doing? Advice appreciate it, I have a 14 gallon cube.

I don't acclimate myself. Dip and straight into the tank. I feed Reef Roids (and other supplements) twice a week. Stable (good) water parameters, good flow and good lighting are the best advice I can give you with respect to corals.
