Hi, Ive been having an issue with my corals as of late the chalice and candy cane coral (I think thats the name) have tissue receding they are placed at the bottom of the tank. My Zoanthids on the other hand are thriving

My water parameters are

75g
Temp : 77
PH : 8.1-8.2
Ammonia : 0
Nitrate : 0
MG :1600....think that is high I did the test 3x same results
Cal : 450-470
Alk : 9.0-9.2
Salinity : 1.025
80-100 lbs of live rock, tank is about 6months old in its current state

Im running GFO and Carbon and do 15g water changes every 2 weeks with Coral Reef Pro Salt. Lighting is LED Reefbreeders photon 32.

Any ideas? Or anything I might have overlooked

Can you post some pics of the corals in question? What fish do you have in the tank as well?

I be thinking that your MAG is extremely high, and your Calcium is also, but not extreme.
And no Phosphate numbers??

I knew forgot something I'm getting a .05 phosphate on my Hanna checker.
I have 2 occelaris clowns, yellow tang, valentini puffer, melanarus wrasse, starry blenny and couple damsels

Besides your Manesium being high and Calcium being slightly elevated, I see nothing else wrong here. Stray current would be the only thing left to look for.

You think perhaps the light levels could have caused this? I have the reefbreeders photon light... at its peak I had blues at 60% and whites at 50 %

If they are new, and you did not acclimate your corals correctly, yes, its a good possibility.
