While I don't know the answer for sure. Here is some ideas to make sure they stay alive. depending on how much space ya need.

1. Get a battery operated fish pump on amazon. Yes they have them for just this situation.
2. Get a DC to USB adapter then get a desktop fish tank that runs off USB power. (unless your car is newer then it probably came with USB slots)
3. a 30 gallon storage container to keep everything in. with lid. (food safe). Add a USB fishtank heater or two and a USB pump.
4. Get a Duracel power pack emergency power source for $100 or so. It has two AC outlets, and you can use your current aquarium supplies and a 30 gallon food safe container with lid.
5. get a digital thermometer for fish tanks with alarm. It will tell you if the temperature is too high or low. Or without alarm and you can just look.
6. Take an extra bucket or gallon of salt water, JUST in case you need it. And a 1 gallon jug of RO water.
7. Ice packs or cold packs depending on climate, if you plan on leaving the car, need to change temp of water.

Lastly the one piece of advice that I know is perfect...
