Coral tree help please

Please help, I got this tree branch and colors have changed to white. Is it dying or is that natural?

think is too late..sorry to see:confused:
 
that's a Bird's Nest SPS coral and sorry to say but when it's that much white, it's at point of no return...
 
dip and use in sump as future filtration ;)
 
Only hope would be to frag off some ends that aren't bleached. I'd hurry and frag off a few then glue the bottoms either to the LR or to some frag plugs.

Make sure it's getting a lot of light and don't get any bleached patches in the parts you frag just in case it's RTN. This is a parasite the very quickly knocks out a coral, usually from the base up. Suggestions from my limited knowledge and unprofessional opinion but that's my guess.

Sorry that piece took a hit, it has some great size to it!
