hi all, I have had a rock of GSP and has been doing good and I saw this white thing on it. Is it hurting the coral? Should I remove it? Or is it okay. Anyone know? Thanks!

Looks like a sponge growing inbetween your polyps. Shouldn't harm anything but can be manually removed if you start to see your polyps get upset

Is there any other way to get rid of aptasia other than aptastia rx

how many are you dealing with? there are nudibranch you can get to eat them, peppermint shrimp, if you only have a few you can take the rock out and scrape them off and epoxy or superglue over the spot where they were. Otherwise a syringe and lemon juice or hot water injected directly into the mouth of the aptasia has been known to kill them off as well.

There aren’t many of them. I just wanted to get as many as I could out now before it becomes a bigger problem
