I was over at a buddy's house and was enjoying looking at all his amazing corals. Mind fully blown on the colors under his regular lighting. Then he changed over to a more blue actinic setting and handed me an orange-ish pair of glasses. I put them on and it was like I was seeing his tank for the first time. EVERYTHING was 100% better. The reds were redder, the greens insanely glowing, oranges about to burst. Amazing. I asked where he bought them and another reefer had given them to him.

So, my question is: has anyone seen these glasses before and know where to order them?

Rock n roll. These are amazing. I need to bring a black light and a couple pairs of these to frags swaps :)

4x on order :)

Thanks for the quick responses! If other people haven't seen their tanks through these glasses they are super worth it. Whole 'nother world!

I use YELLOW safety glasses when looking at my frag tank for frags to stick on Facebook to auction off.

I've found that orange adds to much orange to the tank and corals, making them appear unrealistic whereas I've found the yellow glasses simply removes the bright blue effect still leaving a blue hue suggesting a deep water reef.

My regular sun glasses have polarized lenses, and they make my coral colors way more vibrant. So from time to time i put those on to look at my corals.

I use glasses similar to those with the kids my non-profit brings our traveling reef to. They love the differences they can see. I use them with a white/blue light and a all blue. Really fun for kids and adults alike. The yellow/orange glasses material block out our vision of blue light. Way cool fun. Similar to night divers and their night glasses for seeing the animals glow.
