Up until recently, I have been dosing my mixed reef tank with coral vitalizer. The polyp extension on my sps corals was fantastic. I have also had a pretty bad cyano problem that has covered most of my sand bed. I tried everything to get rid of it. Syphoning, chemicleam, redirected flow, ... but nothing worked. Then, I switched to AquaVitro UltraFuel to dose my tank and the cyano problem started to go away. After about 3 weeks it's almost gone.
Has anyone else seen the same situation?

I have dosed Vitalizer for years, in multiple systems. The only time I've ever had Cyano issues was when dosing it while running bio pellets.

That is exactly my setup - I am running Vertex Pro-bioPellets in a reactor.
Sounds like a poor combination
Thanks!
