Anyone out there know of any documentation on coral warfare, what can and can't touch. Specifically SPS; goes without saying that a hammer and a frogspawn (euphyllia) can touch.

I had some GSP creep up the back of a sunset milli colony, didn't see it happen until it was too late and it bleached at the point of contact (near the bottom) the entire way up. I tried fragging, but no luck, entire thing died.

Just a few days ago I had an unknown acro i bought for cheap, on a frag rack, get turned around by a snail, and ended up making contact with a green psammocora and killed the psammocora within 48 hours.

We just discussed acan echinata being quite angry. Mine killed a discosoma that was three inches away.

I do think Acan echinata and hydnophora are at the top of the list. Someone should put them side by side and see what happens. My money is on the echinata though.

I started a thread on it a while back. I don't know of any actual documents of what happens to what. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/show-your-coral-war-photos-videos.88906/

Good thread, wish there was more of a variety of what does or does not play nice with others. My GSP "colony" is massive, would love to put something in or around it to knock it back. The meanest i've got is a small acan colony and a pink pavona colony. The Pavona has surprised me in the past, easily doing far more damage than a bubble tip for example.

So, i'm going to utilize this thread to document future findings until I come across a more cohesive collection of data.

Metallic Green Hammer (Euphyllia ancora) ok: Green Frogspawn (Euphyllia paradivisa)
Metallic Green Hammer (Euphyllia ancora) kills : Burning Leptastrea (Leptastrea)
Green Frogspawn (Euphyllia paradivisa) kills: Green Duncan (Duncanopsammia axifuga)
Tri Color Acro (Acropora valida) kills: Green psammacora (Psammocora)
Green Star Polyps (Briareum) kills: Sunset Mille (Acropora millepora)
Pink Pavona (Pavona) kills: seemingly everything - More to come
