Coral warfare who wins?

So just got home long day at work, duncan colony fell( pushed by eel or other fish) onto a Space Invader Pectinia im gonna leave it overnight to keep it quiet, who wins?

It's not called a " space invader" for no reason, my vote is that pectinia smokes the Duncan

The uglier of the two coral always wins.

That is always the case, the ugly one wins. Acros bleach and die from algae touching them, and then galaxea fights with a Long tentacle anemone and kills the nem....who knows anymore.

I think coral warfare is a bit like rock-paper-scissors. In my tank the Duncans seem to be low on the list, both the Stylophora and Frogspawn seem to beat it. I haven't had a stylo to Frogspawn battle yet so I don't know who wins that one. The included picture shows the FS going after a Duncan, you can see its all ready killed off several heads. Which one is uglier, your choice.

Seems like both of the different pectinia's would win the war. The few Duncan heads touching were shrunken in and the pectinia's had some white mucous on them which was the Duncan heads starting to get eaten. I think it wasn't long enough for total death and the affected heads should bounce back. Thanks for playing along.

Duncans do kill my meteor shower cyphastria.
