I know this has been discussed many times before, but I have a question regarding three specific species.
What packs a more powerful punch, heliofungia, or fungia?
My helio stung a few acans and caused them to stay closed up. I moved the acans and they're opening up again and looking better.
The fungia never affected the acans, despite moving to practically on top of them.
That makes me think the helio is more aggressive than the fungia.
However now that I've moved the acans, the fungia and helio have moved themselves to that corner of the tank.
The helio is closed up along the edge touching the fungia, despite having touched for weeks before moving the acan and having no issues between the two.
So now I'm confused, the helio beat the acan, the fungia didn't bother the acan, but now the fungia is attacking the helio? It's like a weird aggression triangle.
Could anyone shed some light on the more aggressive/powerful coral?
Is it worth moving either of them if they're likely to move back to that spot?

Please excuse the horrible photo. Top down iPhone pics + dirty glass doesn't make for a good photo shoot haha

I always place my fungias where they can't get out from. That way they can't wander about and sting things or get stung themselves...
