So it the first time these two corals are meeting. Who wins? Will it be a draw?

It's rarely a draw, even with corals from the same Genus. Typically, the more aggressive coral wins. What are the two types that are meeting? Looks like the purple coral is winning, in my opinion.
 
The fish is a lyretail - one of seven. One to them has been trying to "man-up" for the last 3 months and is finally almost all red

Wow they change colors too glad I asked awesome fish I saw a sunburst Anthias before too this just makes choosing harder, or I just need a bigger tank!

I believe the purple coral is a heliopora while the orange is a montipora

The male lyretails are red. In the absence of a male, one of the orange females will transition to a male
