Coral waste

What does this mean?
I don't know. Any changes? did ya strir up some funk?
IMO its a reaction to something the coral doesn't like. Most will say its pooping but i disagree. corals poop differently. Expelling waste yes, but i think its throwing up.

Yes last WC i stirred the sandbed a lot
Bingo. I dont recall folks losing stuff from it "pooping" . Im surprised the tank had enough funk to make it so mad. Age and all.
In my paranoid mind, Id add some bottled bacteria if you have some. Make sure the carbon is in a place with good flow.

How often are you feeding it/ when was the last time you fed? Most of my euphyllia expell waste 1x or less per week. (I feed Mysis 2x/week as well as fuel)

I agree. I use the term poop for lps for anything that comes out of its mouth but its definitely from something it doesnt like.
After you rule out dkh/calc/mag irregularities, I would check nutrients in the tank. If those are spot on (ie like 5-15ppm) then look for the food source.
Stop spot feeding (if you are). If youre not spot feeding, put it lower in the aquarium-its likely getting too much light. I used to spot feed my hammer and it was expelling waste at least once a week. I stopped and he hasnt done it since (about 6 months) and hes super fluffy and happy from lights on to lights off :)
good luck

Holy dkh.....
That *usually* only works in low nutrient systems (granted all tanks are different) but any nitrates when you're over 11 dkh are pushing it. I had a 15 frag order bleach in 3 hours before I knew that. Why are you so high?
Probably not the cause of the poo but are your other corals doing ok?

+1 Batman!

Knock on wood but in my 6+ months I've never seen my corals poop/expell anything. That doesn't mean I haven't lost Frags but never seen anything like that.
