Coral with black dots and possibly a worm?

Bought this coral a week ago, it had one spot on it and now it has a few black spots on the coral, i've had the light on 35% so i'm not sure if it was a bit high for it, also there is a worm looking thing on the stem, is it a worm or not?
really worried as i'm getting new corals tomorrow and there are black spots on the gsp coral too that's close to the frogspawn

Kinda looks like some infestation of flatworms? Do you dip your coral to take out hitchhiking critters?
