So how long do you have to wait to add coral into your aquarium? I want some but I don’t want to get them now.

It’s best to add after the ugly stage of a new tank. The parameters are more stable

Let your tank mature a bit. Get used to testing alkalinity, calcium and magnesium. Learn the tanks uptake all though it will be relatively low in the beginning. Keep an eye on nutrients and keep it stable. Make a plan with what corals you like to keep and where to place them. Start slow.
