Yes I believe that’s a type of Alcyonacea aka gorgonian coral. They like high flow and eat live phytoplankton or other filter feeder foods. I have one in my tank and it loves feeding time. They usually don’t survive in tanks with low nutrients. Some species are non photosynthetic but I’m not sure about this one. This came on a live rock from gulf live rock. Is it coral? If so what is it? Thanks![]()

I got my LR/LS from Tampa Bay Saltwater, high quality but I've been battling lots of unwanted critters, algae, and the amount of gorilla crabs I've removed is insane, not to mention there's another one that molted during the course of the day.Got it from gulfliverock.com was very happy with them
