Does anyone know of anyone who is selling coral for a cheaper price along with shipping? Or is getting rid of unwanted corals for cheap? My LFS are really trying to sell me Itty bitty frags for nearly $100 and I want to at least spend that much and get a lot. I wad located in the high desert and would like to fill my tank with hardy lps corals like hammer, frogspawn, mushroom, candy cane coral, pulsing xenia etc. At the most I want to spend $100 or just a bit over for a lot and stick with non-payltoxic corals.

Here’s the thing…it will almost always be cheaper in person! When you buy online you are adding an additional $50-$100 on shipping and aren’t able to inspect it in person! I do recommend looking at Facebook Marketplace as you can probably find someone local who is either breaking down their tank or frags corals. And hammers, torches, etc. will cost upwards of $100 or so no matter where you are they are not on the cheaper side of corals.

Oh I'll try that, I honestly have two saltwater shops and tried so hard to find any groups for reefers in the high desert, I try to see on marketplace but they block the sale of corals.

There’s ways around it don’t search corals. They will be listed as fake coral and search more general terms like saltwater aquariums!

Vivid aquariums has a discount bin and some pretty pieces otherwise, Golden State corals can have some nice finds but they are smaller. Underwater Depot in sherman oaks is a hit/miss on pieces.
