I have seen an old thread about this dosing pump. Just want to see for those that liked at the time, do you still like it now and still works properly?

I have never used a doser before but how likely will the dosing pump dose more solution or dump the entire container into the tank?

I’ve been wondering this too, following

I’ve been using mine for well over a year now and it has been great. Have the 4 channel pump. Dose potassium iodide, kalk saturated vinegar, esv transition elements, and lanthanum chloride

Only slightly annoying thing is that the barb fittings don’t fit standard airline type tubing. But you can cut some of the small silicone tubing it comes with for the barbs and then jam standard sized tubing over the top and it works. If you use the standard sized stuff alone you will have a constant bubbles in your line and it will never calibrate. No bubbles and it stays calibrate pretty well for me.

How user friendly is it? I’ve never used a doser before either and don’t really want something too complicated

Mines been running the past 18 months, only problem was about 6 months ago one of the motors crapped the bed but luckily I only dose alk, ca, mg but other than that zero issues.

I like mine. I have 2 of them. It has a lot of pros. It is tiny - can fit into small space and it is cheap, well constructed with nice aluminum housing. Easy to setup and program with the phone app. It has an alarm to alert you for running low (estimate only. No real sensor). It is great for micro dosing. It is accurate to 0.1ml from my experience. I can dose 24 times a day per channel to keep the levels as stable as possible.

Cons are: the internal clock will drift over time. If you don't logon for several days, its clock will be ahead for a few minutes. But it is no big deal and can be solved by logging onto the app and sync once in a while. Also no wow factor for it being a cheap brand. No bragging right if that is important.

Oh as for dumping the entire bottle into the tank, it should never happen if your setup is correct (meaning the exit opening of your output tubing is higher than level of your solution).
