Anyone have these lights with the controller? What are your settings like? I have a mainly softy tank with a couple of Hammer and frogspawn corals.

I have no knowledge about this fixture, but people who do would probably like to know how big and how deep your tank is?

I have a pair of the gen 2 fixtures over my 240 softy tank. I love these fixtures. Once set up with the wifi controller, I can use my computer at one end of my house to change/set a program on my tank at the other end of my house.
The programs take a little bit to get use to. I still prefer the gen 1 -gen 4 ETM's esl, but that's all in the past now.
I found the light they produce very my like a T5 bulb.
I did miss the really blue led pop from the Radions so I added a pair of 48" Reef Brite XHO blues to the mix. I guess this is fairly common with many different lights.
I love the fact they are totally silent. No fans.
They are a heavy fixture, so a little planning is required. I used a 1" x 48" oak strip mounted with 4 molly screws to my ceiling and used the hanging kit that came with the fixtures using 2 cables going to the ceiling.

Can you post a pic of your Reef Brite XHO? I feel like I don’t get the shimmer like the lfs that sold me the lights. I can’t seem to get mine set up like there’s.

Picture of the mounts?

Where did you mount your Reef Brites?
Since nothing was made for different length Reef Brites, I made my own brackets out of aluminum to attach to the ATI brackets.
It's a little crude, but from 2'-3' away you really don't see much. I had always planned to modify these, but just haven't gotten around to it. It's been 1-1/2 years.

Mine are running through APEX using the Phillips Controller. Let me know if you have any specific questions... happy to help.

I also 3d Printed some light shades for them fwiw.

I actually have a 3d printer but can’t seem to find anything to print for these lights. How did you wire in the Phillips controller?

Yeah there isn't anything available as far as a shade goes. A friend and I designed and printed some corner pieces which I Velcro'd on. Expanded PVC was cut to fit in between them. Check the build thread if you're interested. I could probably find the files for you if you want.

As far as the controller I just bought this cable and wired it into the controller per the instructions. It did not work at first so I whipped out the old volt meter, and for whatever reason the way it was labelled was backwards. Swapped the leads in the controller and voila.
