I've been told that the stock lighting is good enough for soft corals which is fine. But there are no other kinds that I could add on stock lighting?

Even if I put them closer to the top closer to the light it still wouldn't be good enough?

I don't have any in mind but I do think it would be cool to have a anemone for my future clowns.

Biocube 29 stock lighting, as you can see I had a variety of lps corals that did very well. I hate how people bash compact florescents, if anything at some point you could add some led strips into the hood. You can pull out the leds in between the florescents and stick some higher power led strip to add some sparkle and pop to the color. I have since combined all my nanos into a 90g and hate hate hate the leds I use now.

That is a very nice tank. I can't wait for mine to be full of color and life. (I know not to rush it)

Check out the rapid led DIY led kits. coral options would be endless! well, almost endless.

Lion king what kind of led light strips are you talking about?

Where can I find better leds to replace the ones in the hood?

I used the ecoxotic stunner strips, I'm not sure if the 12" ones are still available. They made them in array of color combos. You could run a few off of one power supply, I believe they were 6w each. If you pulled all the leds in the hood now you could fit 3. My corals did better with the compacts and 3x6w leds added than when I went 100% leds. I'm running leds on my 90(that's where the biocube corals went)now and am going to a T5 combo as soon as I can afford. I'm sure other companies make them, I liked the strips because they were so easy-plug and play. Just measure the space you have in between and find some that fit, I added a 12k/blue, a magenta/blue, and a blue.
