I recently bought one of these and upon unboxing I found that there was no power adapter for the LED canopy. I figured I wouldn't loose anything messaging Coralife. I called on Saturday (closed) and today within an hour of opening I received a call from their customer support getting my shipping address and very appologetic. This has been one of the most painless customer service experiences I have had in a long time and I thought I would share this experience with everyone here on R2R.

The only nit-pick I have was the fact that this is sold as an All-in-one and it didn't come with a heater? Not ALL in one, but still a great cube!

Yeah you still need a heater haha. But they are great I have a Coralife Biocube 29 and love it. Have you thought of using a media basket? I just bought one and have heard great things from them.

The 32 LED has a media basket built into the rear chambers. It looks like they addressed the issues that InTank was solving.

Me and my son just took the plunge and started up our first SW tank after having FW tanks for several years with great success. We are on day 9 of cycling our BioCube 32 LED. Our Ammonia is at .25 to .50 ppm, Nitirites are 0.00 and Nitrates were at 5ppm but are now down to 3ppm since I added in some Cheato, phosguard and a bag of ChemiPure Blue. I have the InTank media and fuge baskets arriving tomorrow and the Innovative Marine - Auqa Gadget ChaetoMax 2-n-1 Refugium LED arriving on Thursday.

I currently only have 5 small hermit crabs in the tank for the past 4 days and have been feeding them half a cube of mysis shrimp a day hoping to get some ammonia to kick start the cycle. I'm not sure if adding in the Cheato this soon was a good idea or not as I think it may be slowing down the cycling process or at a minimum skewing my water readings...any thoughts?

Ammonia should be zero before putting any critters in.

I know but I forgot to mention that I also dosed the tank with Prime as it will suspend the ammonia and make it harmless to the tank inhabitants but will still register on my ammonia readings until the bacteria convert it to Nitirites and eventually Nitrates....

That was another thread I posted and it has a lot of really useful dialect in it. If dead set on livestock in tank before cycle is complete, bio spira is your best bet.(I am not suggesting it, but like said if you are dead set on it, give them the best chance for survival with some bottled bacteria)
My understanding of prime is dechlorination. But I haven't really looked into it very much.

What I gathered from all of that in the link is that I will cycle with a uncooked shrimp, ghost feed what I am going to feed with and only use filter floss during the cycle.

I am also definitely adding marinepure into my back area. I am pretty sure I am going to go with the InTank stuff even though they have a built in chamber.
