I have a Coralife Ca reactor and about every 3 days I get an excess accumulation of air(probably CO2) in the reactor. I usually have to remove flow valve and let it run until bubbles are gone.
I have already added a feed pump for the affluent (stock relies on this teeny tiny pump)
Has anybody had a similar experience, and how was the problem rectified?

Thanks in advance

Sorry to get you down but I think you should junk that reactor and get another one. I've heard the Coralife reactors aren't the best.

They are truely a point of sale!!!
Unfortunately due to financial conditions, if I bought a new reactor it would be this :horse: any guess who the horse would be!? and I do not think the wife would be smiling, well maybee.

I have the same issues with the wife...but seriously for the money there can't be much better out there is there? Any ideas for better units in the same price range?

i have the reactor rated up to 250g,i had numbers of problems getting that thing to work right.it leaked,it shot huge air bubbles, the valve wouldnt stay adjusted, but after working with it i finnaly got it to work right, and its just as good as any other i think.IMHO
dont get rid of it just work with it.

I have been dealing w/ this for over 1 yr.
It will be great then go to poo for a week.
:horse:no matter how hard it just will not work (except when it wants) I am a stickler for reliability. It is really hard to reach for adjustment which adds insult to injury.:blob6:

Thanks.
It is getting better.......:hammer:
This morning my drip had completely stopped!
Trying to burp the bubles as we speak.
I feel a new reactor is 100% in order.
